Virtual Intimacy Zone Day Held in Rimavská Sobota

On March 11th, the Tompa Mihály Reformed Grammar School hosted the “Virtual Intimacy Zone” program, which focused on safe and conscious internet use. The aim of the event was to help students recognize the dangers of the online world, become more aware of their digital footprint, and develop skills that empower them to use the internet responsibly and confidently in their daily lives.

The day began with small group workshops centered on self-awareness and the development of critical thinking. Following these sessions, seven thematic stands awaited the participants, offering deeper insights into the most pressing issues of internet safety.

A highlight of the program was the interactive theater activity presented by the Fókusz student stage, which explored the relationship between the online and offline worlds in a creative and thought-provoking way. In the morning, students from the Commercial Academy of Rimavská Sobota took part in the session, while in the afternoon, students from the Tompa Mihály Reformed Grammar School joined in, engaging in meaningful discussions about the role digital tools play in our lives.

We were delighted to see the active participation of the students and received plenty of positive feedback – it was a truly enjoyable and meaningful day spent together. Our heartfelt thanks go out to all the volunteers, helpers, and colleagues who contributed to the success of the program!
