Virtual Intimate Zone Training in Komárno
In early September, a special training took place at the Komárno Secondary School of Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering, aimed at developing digital awareness and critical thinking skills among high school students. The program, titled "Virtual Intimate Zone," was led by two experienced trainers who actively engaged the participants in the challenges and opportunities of the modern digital world.
During the training, participants explored several important topics that significantly impact the lives of today’s youth. In addition to the conscious management of digital footprints, emphasis was placed on understanding social isolation and the diversity of the virtual space. The young people examined the phenomenon of internet addiction, as well as the effects of the online world on real-life relationships and social interactions.
A key component of the training was the development of critical thinking, where students learned to distinguish between positive and negative information and gained an understanding of the concepts of objective and subjective judgment. In addition to recognizing fake news and online scams, they acquired essential skills that will help them navigate the digital world safely and joyfully.
Throughout the program, participants were introduced to the basics of project management and had the opportunity to bring their ideas to life through real projects. During the training, students not only developed their digital skills but also focused on building personal connections and engaging in group self-organization. Through collaborative tasks and interactive activities, stronger friendships were formed, and participants shared their experiences and opinions together.
The “Virtual Intim Zone” training provided high school students with an opportunity to approach the digital world consciously and responsibly. Throughout the program, they not only expanded their technical knowledge but also acquired life-long skills that will help them face the ever-changing challenges of the digital space in the future. By the end of the training, the young participants not only had a better understanding of the digital world but also formed new connections and friendships, which will contribute to their personal growth.
The training aimed not only at knowledge acquisition but also at fostering community building and cooperation among young people, which is essential for future generations in managing the challenges of the digital space. Programs like these help young people become conscious and responsible internet users, capable of recognizing and addressing the pitfalls of the digital world.
This program was made possible with the support of the Orange Foundation.
